Make sure of the post-obit:
- The file/folder permissions are correct on the tmp binder. Typically, they should exist 755.
- The ownership is correct on the tmp folder. If you are running a cPanel/WHM environment, then the folder should be endemic by the cPanel user. If you lot're running Plesk, then the folder should be endemic by

Thank you for the valuable information Mr. Neil. I found the place where we tin conform folder settings and stuff. All seems to be on 755 and images which are uploaded are on 644. And the user is same for all the folders and files. What now concerns me is that how do I find if I take any space left in my temporary folder or not. Considering what happens is that when I upload an image, the prototype uploads and shows me as 0 bytes. When i click on the motion picture, its shown every bit a broken link. Kindly give me some idea as to how to notice the space bachelor on temp folder. Thanks.

Have you checked the directory permissions?
Feb two, 2017 at nine:12
Yes, I went through all the system permissions via system info and saw all were writable. What I desire to know though is, how to change folder permissions numbers like people write " Did you try irresolute binder permissions to 777 or 501 or something". I would exist happy to know if you lot could let me know regarding the same. Cheers.

The web server usually works equally a user www-information or http, and non under your own user business relationship. And then the directory "/domicile/kimberly/public_html/tmp" has to go the right permissions for the server's access.

Under directory permissions I see that directory permissions to the folder you mentioned has writable permission. In that case it shouldn't be a problem. Information technology has something to do with libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php line 351. Any idea whats that supposed to mean really? I take been trying my way around this, but just tin't crack it. Is there somebody with whom I can get personally in bear on with to bargain with the issue? I am using Joomla version i.5.22.

Once y'all accept fixed your permission, ownership or space problem, you should ideally upgrade to Joomla ane.five.26 and utilise the Joomla 1.5 security hotfixes from: docs.joomla.org/Security_hotfixes_for_Joomla_EOL_versions to keep the website secure while yous program a migration to Joomla iii.x.
